My great experience in Boston.

Boston

First of all, I must say that the reason why I went to Boston, was because Rosa told me about some people who were thinking of travelling to U.S. So I phoned to Begona, and we both decided to share this experiece. Thak you Rosa. It was a great advice.
Getting to the U.S.A
The flights cost 1621 €. If you want to get cheaper flights you must buy then as soon as possible. We flew from Lisbon, itś cheaper than Madrid or Seville.
When we arrived we got a taxi, don't forget to carry some coins or little notes. And don't forget to pay the tip( at least 15%).

The accommodation.
We spent our first night in a fancy hotel, Hotel Voucher. It was really nice and comfortable. The stardard twin room cost 93 €.
The next day we went to the residence. And it was a nightmare because nodody knew that we had booked a room there. For that reason, we had to sleep in a dirty room. We booked the course and the accomodation with Embassy ces.
Embassy employees looked for another room. But the new room was dirty and it smelt awful. We were in Fisher college. The people who worked there were very nice. What is more, it was in the downtown. We lived very close to Cheers.
Now Embassy has moved to another place in the downtown.

The course
I booked the course with Embassy ces because it's a very pretigious private English academy in all the world. My teachers were great, Mary Kate and Joe. But there were a lot of people in my classroom. Moreover, most of them were teenagers. And sometimes I felt uncomfortable.

We went every day to Lasell college. It took an hour by tube from our residence. But it was
really good.

Boston is situated along the Unites States' northeastern Atlantic coast on Massachusetts bay. Founded In the early 17th century around a large natural habour at the mouth of the Charles River. Boston has a population of 600000. It is the capital of Massachusetts and a major center of american history, culture, and learning.

Boston offers a weath of attractions. There are historic neighborhoods, such as Beacon Hill and Back bay. You can find examples of the best Federal architecture in the U.S, such as Masachusstetts State House and beautiful examples of late opulence such as Trinity Church. The treasures of the Museums of Fine Arts and Harvards Museums are also shown.

The city has a wide variety of exciting places to eat. Boston restaurants show may diverse influences. You will find Boston traditional cuisine restaurants where you can eat a lobtster, Italian and etnic restaurants. You can have dinner until 10.30 p.m.

In summer Boston is full of people. It's dificult to find a place to eat especially outdoors at dinners time. You can find fancy restaurants in Charles street, Newbury St and Faneuill Hall Marketplace.

I recommend you to try the lobster, clam chowders, and Samuel Adams beers.

If you like shopping you can miss visiting the luxurious botiques of Newbury St. Marcy's is a big deparment store like Corte ingles. Premiun Outlets are 65 kms from Boston but you can take a bus to get there.
